Love your clothes, protect your budget (IV) – organize your closet to make it look bigger and widen your choices!

·         Do not tighten your pieces inside your closet, hang them loose or bend them in a pile without pressing it into the drawers to ensure they keep the shape;

·         Não encafue toda a sua roupa no armário que usa no dia-a-dia, pendure as peças para que caiam naturalmente sem as apertar ou dobre-as sem as amassar dentro das gavetas para que mantenham a forma;

·         What´s the use of having so many clothes pushed in your closet if they are all wrinkled when you decide to wear them?

·         De que serve ter muitas peças amontoadas no armário se estiverem todas amarrotadas quando as quer usar?

·         If your closet is too full you probably need to make a clean and put away for some time the clothes you are not wearing. If your pieces are lined up and at sight you will not forget they exist and your daily decisions on what to wear will be much easier. There is no point in having a bursting closet where most of the pieces are hidden!

·         Se o seu armário estiver demasiado cheio, certamente precisa de ser arrumado e de guardar noutro sítio, durante algum tempo, as peças que não está a usar. Se a roupa que tem no armário estiver organizada e estiver toda à vista não se esquecerá de algumas peças que habitualmente ficam escondidas e que nunca usa. Assim, será muito mais fácil decidir o que quer vestir diariamente. Não vale a pena ter um armário abarrotado se andar sempre com as mesmas peças!

·         Don’t mix your clothes. Organize them by type in the way that suits you (and your closet) best. If you are not sure what is the order you prefer use this one : shirts, skirts, trousers, dresses, combos. You may change it next time!

·         Não misture tudo. Organize as suas roupas por tipo de peças consoante lhe der mais jeito. Se ainda não tem a certeza qual é a melhor ordem para si, siga esta: camisas, saias, calças, vestidos, conjuntos. Depois de experimentar durante uma estação pode mudar da próxima vez.

·         For each category hang the pieces by length and color as it pleases you best. I begin from the short hems to the midi and from white, following the rainbow and finishing with black.

·         Dentro de cada categoria, pendure as peças por comprimento e por cores. Eu começo das mais curtas para as mais compridas e das brancas, seguindo o arco-íris e acabando nas pretas.

·         In the lower shelves use baskets or boxes to separate belts, scarves, sunglasses.

·         Coloque cestos ou caixas nas prateleiras mais baixas para arrumar os acessórios como cintos, lenços ou óculos de sol.

·         Think capsule and organize your closet as a capsule wardrobe, push yourself to store the rest away and then change it from time to time. This will make your closet look much bigger and you will not be wearing always the same pieces.

·         Organize o seu armário numa lógica de coleção cápsula e discipline-se para guardar o resto das coisas num sítio menos acessível. Depois mude de tempos a tempos. Isto fará com que o seu guarda-roupa pareça muito maior e não andará sempre com as mesmas coisas.

·         Don´t be too hard on you. Your closet is not instagram! You are a real woman living a real life, you are not living inside a mag!

·         Não seja demasiado exigente consigo mesma. O seu closet não é o instagram! Somos mulheres reais com vidas reais, não habitamos dentro de uma revista!
