A reforçar aquilo que já surgiu no Verão, este Outono os cintos invadiram as colecções. Esta é uma tendência que se adapta especialmente bem às menos novas. Um cinto acrescenta quase sempre um pouco de seriedade, dá um ar mais cuidado e é um detalhe que faz um upgrade num conjunto. O cinto ajuda a definir a silhueta e pode até fazê-la parecer mais magra desde que não tenha muito excesso de peso.
The belt emerged last summer and this fall it invaded the collections. This is a trend that fits especially well to not so young people. A belt always adds a bit of seriousness, gives a very careful air and is a detail that makes an upgrade in your look. The belt helps to define the silhouette and may even makes you look slimmer if you are not too overweight.

Os cintos usam-se com tudo: nas camisas e nos vestidos mas também por cima de sobretudos e blasers. São particularmente úteis para dar feminilidade aos tamanhos XXL ou aos cortes muito estruturados.
You may use a belt over everything: shirts, dresses, overcoats and blazers. They are particularly useful to give a more feminine look to XXL sizes or to highly structured cuts.

Os obi (cintos muito largos e semfivelas usados nos kimonos, geralmente apertados à frente com tiras mais finas) usam-se por cima de camisas brancas (outra tendência imprescindível desta estação), por cima de vestidos, de pijamas, de sobretudos ou de fatos saia-e-casaco. Os obi mais largos substituem a tendência corset que é mais difícil de usar.
The obi (very wide belts used in kimonos usually tight ahead with thinner strips) are used over white shirts (another essential trend this season), over dresses, pijamas, overcoats. A larger obi may replace the corset trend that is more difficult to use.

Eu já decidi que vou abusar de um truque que usei muito há alguns anos (numa altura em que não se via de todo): um cinto médio ou largo por cima de uma écharpe comprida.
I have decided that I will abuse a trick I used a lot a few years ago (at a time not seen at all): a medium or wide belt over a long scarf.
