2018 Xmas & Wish List

A minha lista (consciente) de presentes mais desejados para o Natal de 2018

Sempre gostei muito do espírito de Natal provavelmente porque os Natais da minha infância foram muito felizes e agora tento reproduzir isso com as minhas filhas e neto.

Desde muito pequena que o que mais gosto no Natal é, sem dúvida, todo o ambiente envolvente dos dias anteriores e seguintes: o presépio e a árvore de Natal; decorar a casa e ter as iluminações de Natal sempre ligadas (meio ambiente por favor perdoa-me este devaneio); pensar na organização da mesa da consoada e do almoço de Natal; preparar as listas de compras para que esteja tudo pronto (e sem stress) atempadamente; fazer uma limpeza geral mais profunda e organizar a cozinha para a confecção dos doces e dos pratos tradicionais; separar roupas e brinquedos para dar ...

Fora de casa, o melhor de tudo é respirar o Natal nas ruas da cidade num misto de agitação e felicidade; passear muito; admirar as iluminações das ruas e as decorações das lojas; entrar (e rezar) em todas as igrejas e... procurar os presentes certos para cada pessoa. Só neste contexto faz sentido (re)organizar a minha carta ao Menino Jesus.

My (conscious) 2018 Xmas Wish List

I have always loved the spirit of Christmas and this is probably because the Christmas' of my childhood were very happy. Today I try to do it over with my daughters and grandson.

From little child what I like most about Christmas is undoubtedly the whole surrounding environment of the previous and following days: making the Christmas crib and the tree; decorating the house and having the Christmas lights always on (environment please forgive me this reverie); thinking about the seting of the table; preparing the shopping lists so that everything is ready (and stress free) in a timely manner; making a more thorough general sweeping and organizing the kitchen for the cooking of the sweets and traditional dishes; separating clothes and toys to donate...

Out of home, the best of all is to enjoy Christmas on the streets feeling the mix of excitement and happiness; going for walks in the city centre; admiring the Christmas lights and the decorations of the shops; going inside (and praying) in all the churches and ... looking for the right gifts for each person. This is the special occasion where it makes sense (re)organizing my letter to Santa Claus.
