Vista a Camisa | Dress a Shirt

Lembro-me de quando era criança, no princípio dos anos setenta, a minha mãe e as amigas adorarem aquilo a que chamavam os "vestidos-camiseiros" ou, mais simplesmente, apenas "camiseiros". Estes vestidos, abotoados até à baínha e muitas vezes cortados na cintura, assemelhavam-se a camisas masculinas na parte de cima, com golas em colarinho e punhos abotoados.

Os camiseiros tinham várias vantagens: assentavam lindamente, mostrando as formas do corpo, sem as marcarem, porque caíam a direito; eram confortáveis e muito versáteis, podendo ser usados em ocasiões um pouco mais formais ou mais quotidianas; e podiam ser acessorizados de várias formas, o que os transformava e permitia criar vários looks. Enfim, uma espécie de LBD da época. Hoje adoro-os e tenho alguns que herdei e outros que comprei em lojas vintage e em feiras.

Depois, durante a adolescência, as camisas do nossos pais andaram num virote nos armários dos nossos quartos e nos nossos passeios: usadas abertas com uma T-shirt por baixo, atadas à cintura com calças de ganga ou a fazer de blazer, por cima de vestidinhos de verão.

Entretanto, durante alguns anos, odiámos os camiseiros e dizíamos até (oh horror!) que pareciam batas!

Agora, para alegrar o nosso SS 2016, todas as marcas alongaram as camisas para as podermos vestir sem mais nada. Os vestidos-camisa são lindos, muito lindos, e, mais uma vez, são tão versáteis: frescos, confortáveis, a permitirem disfarçar a falta de bronzeado, a adaptarem-se a várias situações.

Quase todas as marcas optaram pelas riscas, mas eu tenho uma paixão especial pelos brancos (apesar de serem difíceis de usar, sobretudo para quem tem um tom de pele como o meu). Se os usar sem acessórios, consegue um look totalmente clean-chic, mas pode acessorizá-los (por exemplo com um lenço ao pescoço ou um colar XXL) para uma imagem mais girly. Além disso, se escolher um com bainha pelo joelho ou apenas um pouco mais comprido, pode conjugá-lo com uns cullotes para um efeito surpreendente.

I remember as a kid, in the early seventies, my mother and friends used to worship "chemisiers". These dresses, buttoned to the bottom and often cut at the waist, were like men's shirts at the top, with cuffs on collar and buttoned cuffs.

Chemisiers had several advantages: they would dress beautifully, showing the body shapes without marking them, because they always fell straight; They were comfortable and very versatile and could be used on more formal or more daily occasions; they could be differently accessorized, allowing to create several looks. They were a kind of LBD of those times. Nowadays I love them and I have some that I inherited and others bought at vintage stores or at fairs.

Later, during my teens, my father's shirts walked into my closet: I used to wear them opened with an under T-shirt, tied at the waist with jeans or as a blazer over summer dresses.

Now, to cheer this SS 2016 all brands lengthened shirts for us to wear with nothing else underneath. These long shirts are so beautiful, so very beautiful, and, again, they are so versatile: fresh, comfortable, allowing us to disguise the lack of a tan, easily adapting to various situations.

Almost all brands have chosen stripes, but I have a special passion for the white ones (although they are difficult to use, especially for those who have a skin tone like mine). If you wear them without accessories, you get a completely clean-chic look, but you can also acessorize them (eg with a scarf around the neck or XXL necklace) for a more girly image. Also, if you choose one falling at your knee or just a little longer, you can combine it with a cullottes for an amazing effect.
